Trip to Shymbulak
The annual trip to Shymbulak gathers a small group – about 20 parents with children. Parents often cannot take their children with them for various reasons: children in strollers, lack of personal transport and other difficulties. During the trip, we all get to the starting point together, and then go up into the mountains on a cable car. This place pleases with clean air and stunning views. From the heights, a magnificent panorama of the city opens up, which is visible as if in the palm of your hand. All these moments remain vivid memories for both children and their parents.
Trip to Zoo
The annual trip to the zoo brings together a small group – about 20 parents with children. For many, this is a great opportunity to spend time together, because it is not always possible to visit such places on your own. During the excursion, the children were able to feed a giraffe, watch a variety of animals – majestic lions, powerful bears and funny meerkats. The terrarium with snakes and lizards, as well as an aquarium with colorful fish, were of great interest. After the walk, everyone had a delicious snack – a fragrant pizza was a pleasant end to a busy day. Excellent weather, new impressions and joyful emotions made this day truly special for our children and their parents.
Volunteer Meetings: Networking, Learning and Support
Our volunteer community regularly gathers for meetings where there is an opportunity to communicate, exchange experiences and learn something new. In a warm and informal atmosphere, we discuss current topics, share ideas and just spend time together. Sometimes foreign guests join us, meetings are held in the English Club format, as well as trainings dedicated to the specifics of different diagnoses and proper communication. We talk not only about how to help, but also about how to be a volunteer in everyday life. During the work of the **All Ability Camp**, many volunteers have collaborated with us, and thanks to this, an active community of like-minded people has formed. These meetings help to maintain contact, find new friends and grow together. We will be glad to see everyone who wants to become part of our team.
New Year party for special kids
About 50 children and their parents gathered to celebrate the upcoming New Year in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The celebration took place in a cozy cafe, where everyone was treated to delicious treats and a fun program. Santa Claus and his assistant created a real New Year’s fairy tale. The children danced in circles, played fun games, recited poems and greeted the magical guest with delight. At the end, everyone was treated to the most long-awaited moment – the presentation of gifts. This day gave everyone unforgettable emotions, joy and a feeling of a real holiday. Another warm memory that will remain in the hearts of children and their parents.
